Stayed two nights this past weekend at the Marriott downtown Dallas. Great location, clean rooms, and we loved the M Lounge. Day staff were very friendly, but the night staff when check in felt rushed didn’t explained anything , but overall a really good stay.

The desk staff are extremely rude, incompetent and unhelpful. We had to make some adjustments to our reservation and they wouldn’t help us at all. I was screamed at over the phone by both of their managers handling our check out. I may never stay at a Marriott again after the way this staff treated my family. The room was great, but if friendly, helpful customer service is something you value, avoid this location at all costs.

I just spent three nights in Room 224. The hotel is in a convenient location near many cultural venues in the Arts District and also is steps away from a DART station. The hotel was clean and safe, but it did not meet my third hotel criteria: quiet. The even numbered rooms look out on an enormous, multi-story atrium. At three AM they play discordant, indistinguishable “music” that echos around the space and continues for hours. The odd numbered rooms must look out on the street and be much quieter. Guests should realize there is no pool, and weekend breakfast accommodations may be too far with anyone having mobility issues, unless you want to pay for an exorbitant morning meal in their on site restaurant. On weekdays there are some lovely breakfast options in the atrium attached to the hotel. NOTE: No bathrobes in room or nightlights in bathroom. Reading lamps beside the bed quite adequate. Pillows, mattress, linens all acceptable.

Stayed at this hotel for three nights on a business venture. Room was great- clean and quiet. Dined each night at lobby bar. Kevin the bartender was absolutely the best. His service was the best and local travel tips spot on .. Kevin made the stay

I stayed at the Dallas Marriott Downtown for just over two weeks for a work seminar, and I can confidently say it was the best stay I’ve ever had. The M-Club Lounge is undoubtedly one of the nicest, most luxurious lounges I’ve experienced. I want to personally acknowledge the outstanding hosts and bartenders, Christian and Kaylin, who made each day truly exceptional. They were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. Even when the food was running low due to an increase in guests, they efficiently managed to keep everything stocked. I was able to explore Dallas and relax throughout my entire stay. One area for improvement would be to expand the buffet options in the lounge, especially to include more gluten-free choices.
